A mindful hike (7km) to release the mental load we carry as mums and reconnect with ourselves, nature, and each other.
We’ll gather at Olinda Falls Carpark at 8:30am for grounding breathwork and a gentle warm-up to prepare our bodies and minds.
At 9:00am, we’ll make our way down to the falls, where we’ll take a quiet moment to reflect on the mental load we carry — the worries, the expectations, and the constant doing — and set an intention to leave it on the trail.
From there, we’ll follow scenic forest trails towards Eagle Nest Picnic Ground, approximately 4km away. The first half of the hike is mostly a gentle downhill through lush ferns and peaceful bushland.
At Eagle Nest Picnic Ground, we’ll pause to regroup, refuel, and take in the surroundings.
For those who prefer a shorter option, there’s an opportunity to finish here and arrange a pickup with a family member around 10:00–10:15am.
The rest of the group will continue the return journey to Olinda Falls, with a few steady climbs along the way. We’ll take it at a comfortable pace, with plenty of stops to rest and enjoy the forest. We expect to return around 11:30am, lighter, freer, and renewed.
Light refreshments provided at Olinda Falls.
