Is Motherhood in Motion right for you?
-
Are you feeling ready to return to exercise after having kids?
-
Do you want coaching, accountability and connection?
-
Are you ready to move beyond fear, reconnect with your body and build a sustainable relationship with movement?
Whether you had your baby 6 weeks ago, or 6 years ago, our program offers coaching, progressive training, education and a community of likeminded mums to support your journey.
Our program is built around three key pillars:
Move. Learn. Connect.

Move.

Learn.

Connect.
Build strength, confidence and capability.
Experience evidence-based movement designed for the demands of motherhood. Develop a positive and sustainable relationship with movement and exercise.
Feel empowered through education.
Understand the why behind your training, learn how to move with confidence and develop the knowledge to make informed decisions about your health, recovery and well-being.
Create meaningful connections.
You don't have to navigate motherhood alone. Join a supportive community where you can share experiences, celebrate wins and support each other through the challenges of motherhood.
Choose your level of support.
No matter which option you choose, you'll receive evidence-based programming, coaching and a supportive community. The difference is how you like to train - whether that's from the comfort of your home, or with the added accountability of face-to-face coaching.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Do I need clearance from my GP to join the program?
A: Yes, all participants are required to complete their 6-week check. The 6-week check is an important step in your medical journey, however it is not a functional capacity test or "all clear".
We encourage our mums to book an appointment with a women's health physio prior to returning to exercise after having a baby.
Q: What do I need to bring to in-person sessions?
A: Please bring your own exercise mat. You won't need to bring any other equipment, just what you require for your and your child's health, safety, comfort and enjoyment.
Q: Where are the in-person sessions held?
A: In-person sessions are held in Montrose, VIC 3765. Sessions are held in doors during winter or outdoors at the enclosed netball courts. Community halls and venues are selected carefully to ensure they are accessible and child friendly.
Q: Can I bring my baby or older children along to in-person sessions?
A: Yes! Babies and children are welcome to attend our in-person sessions. We understand childcare isn't always available, our classes are designed to create a relaxed, supportive environment for mums and their children.
Q: What equipment will I need to join the program?
A: To complete the workouts at home you'll need a pair or two of dumbbells, or an adjustable pair is ideal! A long resistance band and a mini-loop band, a foam roller/ rolled up towel or yoga block. We try to provide options and modifications for most exercises to suit the equipment you have available.
Q: Can I join if I have an injury, symptoms, pain or other considerations?
A: Yes. We can support most injuries, pelvic girdle pain, pelvic floor dysfunction such as leaking, prolapse, abdominal separation or something else. We are passionate about collaborative care and will request to speak with your allied health teams to ensure our program is suitable for you. For mums requiring a more tailored approach due to medical reasons, injury or pain, we recommend joining our hybrid program where we can offer in-person coaching and support.
Q: What happens if I miss LIVE or in-person session?
A: All live online classes are recorded and uploaded to the Members Hub, allowing you to watch and complete the session at a time that suits you. If you miss an in-person session, all your weekly workouts are programmed in our app so you can make up the session in your own time, if you're feeling up to it.
Q: I'm not a new mum, my kids are older, or I am older, can I still join?
A: Yes! Our program is suitable for mums returning to exercise at any stage. This is a fantastic starting point for any woman who is keen to build strength and confidence, it's never too late to start!
